High-end corresponds to the original model’s Upside case. The selected values are transcribed from the original evaluation and its calculation model, not newly fitted to the website. The public page uses one short evaluation note; this appendix preserves the calculation basis.

## Definitions and calculation basis

Year1 is the first full year of a funded commercialization plan. No calendar start is specified; Year5 and Year10 are operating horizons, not fixed2031/2036 dates. ARR is the recurring-revenue run rate at year end, calculated from ending organizations and annual recurring contract value. Annual revenue averages starting and ending ARR under the original model’s linear net-growth assumption; it is a different measure. EBITDA subtracts modeled delivery costs, customer-acquisition expenses and fixed operating expenses from annual revenue. Negative Year5 EBITDA is retained exactly.

Year10 future enterprise value equals Year10 EBITDA×8, using the original evaluation’s central exit multiple. It is not a current asking price, present discounted value, revenue, equity proceeds or a completed transaction. The original model also stress-tested4×/12× exit multiples and25%/35%/45% discount rates; the website does not combine or average those sensitivities into new estimates. No Year5 enterprise value is supplied by the original evaluation, so none is invented here.

Customer paths, contract values, retention, margins, acquisition costs, operating budgets, exit multiples and discount rates are planning inputs. They are not verified company financial results, validated demand or calibrated probabilities. Base names a planning case, not a most-likely outcome; Conservative is not an absolute floor. The model requires funding and further commercialization. Actual outcomes can fall below every displayed case, including zero recurring revenue and operating losses. No separate brand, intellectual-property or buyer-synergy premium is added. Cash/debt, tax, transaction costs and enterprise-to-equity adjustments are not represented by the future enterprise-value figures.

## Website structure considered

The assessment considers Gateway’s public services, catalog, documentation, directory, portfolio presentation, purchase support and optional membership. Its strengths include a connected family of technical and creative work, clear service scope, inspectable project evidence, a human storefront and machine-readable discovery. The specialist-brand comparison is conceptual and names no company or valuation comparable.
