# Warehouse recounts and kit substitution allowances

## Warehouse Cycle Count Recount Agreement

Compare two warehouse counts for the same item, bin, lot and unit. Use opaque and distinct counter IDs, unique count and movement IDs, and one elapsed-minute clock. Both count minutes must be distinct and in order. Use a null lot only for a non-lot-tracked item. Supply a complete inventory movement record for the entire interval, including both endpoint minutes. Any posted or unresolved movement of that stock holds the comparison, including records in other units and movements that net to zero. The review describes the supplied evidence without posting inventory adjustments or verifying counter identity. Use authorized, non-sensitive data. The report describes supplied records and does not change external systems.

## Kit Substitution Allowance Reconciliation

Check a kit substitution batch against the declared approval allowance. Match the exact kit, BOM line and revision, site, original and substitute components, and unit. Measure each allowance and use in the same whole units of the substitute component. No ratio or unit conversion is inferred. Use one clock and unique IDs. Supply complete net finalized usage for each approval from its start through the review minute, plus all proposed uses for that minute. Approval starts are inclusive. Expiry and revocation minutes are excluded. The check assesses all proposed uses together. Wrong scope, unresolved effects or incomplete history require reconciliation. It does not approve substitutions, reserve stock or update a BOM. Use authorized, non-sensitive data. The report describes supplied records and does not change external systems.
