# Gateway product discovery

GET /api/catalog/v1/products returns the same product registry as /catalog.
Optional filters: category (services, tools, software, books, games, art), id (exact product ID).
Unknown, repeated or malformed parameters return HTTP 400. Unknown valid IDs return an empty list.

These records include Website Opportunity Scanner, Gateway Transaction Intelligence and the other Gateway projects. Service records derive their existing prices and contracts from the authoritative service catalog.

The two report services include price, hosted schemas/examples, x402 payment methods and a quote URL on the dedicated Gateway wallet backend. purchase.available is resolved from a fresh bounded backend admission check and matching service version/price. Failure, disabled admission or mismatch returns false. The other 42 products have no payment route and remain unavailable. Listed prices never authorize spending. Read /agent/catalog-guide.md for the quote, payment and private retrieval lifecycle. Discovery is free and does not create orders, process customer input or contact payment providers. Only the two connected report services can become available.

Use descriptions, buyerTask, input, output and intendedDelivery to assess fit. Intended delivery is a proposed integration, not an executable promise. sourceState and limitations explain current evidence and restrictions. sourceUrl is a reference only; it is not a wallet endpoint. referencePrice, when present, is dated storefront evidence and must never be used as a payment instruction.

A purchasable record must include an enabled offer, versioned input/output contracts, exact approved edition or adapter, price, supported wallet method, executable quote URL, license and delivery terms. Check those fields and your own spending authorization before requesting a quote. Do not substitute another service ID. Do not send funds to an inferred address. Unavailable records must be skipped.

Buying an item does not grant device-control, redistribution, training or commercial-use rights. Existing public/free project versions remain unchanged.

Availability responses use Cache-Control: no-store. Recheck before quoting; backend validation, recovery readiness, quotas and the exact challenge remain authoritative. No browser checkout or email delivery is provided by this API.


## Listed prices

Every record has a USD price with a two-decimal amount and pricing.unit: report, completed job, or digital edition. pricing.status distinguishes service-list-price from launch-list-price. Read pricing.note for the scope. The 42 upcoming offers have published launch prices, but remain unavailable until their exact edition or job limits, license, and automated fulfillment are qualified. A listed price is not a quote. Never pay for an unavailable item. Existing free previews and open-source rights are unchanged.
