# Delivery and targeting check APIs

## Webhook Retry Timing Audit API

Audit observed webhook retries against timing windows and a total elapsed budget. Provide one delivery timeline and a window for each retry. Use Unix epoch or relative milliseconds consistently. Delay starts at the prior attempt end, which must represent receipt of its response or termination of the attempt. Supply Retry-After floors already normalized to whole milliseconds from that point, or zero when absent. The stricter minimum applies. Equal boundaries pass. The result flags incompatible retry windows and early, late or over-budget starts. A single attempt gives insufficient evidence. This does not send webhooks, parse headers, classify response codes or predict future retries. Use authorized, non-sensitive data. The report describes supplied records and does not change external systems.

## Feature Flag Targeting Change API

Compare current and proposed feature flag targeting against the same sample contexts. Each snapshot has a Boolean default and an ordered list of rules. The first rule whose conditions all match supplies the result. Comparisons are case-sensitive exact string matches. An absent attribute cannot match. Use unique case IDs, unique rule IDs within each snapshot and unique keys within each condition or attribute list. The result identifies changes to flag values, selected rule IDs and the default. A null rule ID means the default applied. This evaluates the supplied cases under Gateway’s rule model. It does not reproduce provider-specific operators, percentage rollouts or live targeting. Use authorized, non-sensitive data. The report describes supplied records and does not change external systems.
